Charity:

The wish list items for Champions for Change this week are snacks e.g. small niknaks, lollypops/sweets, juice – these are made into little packs and given to patients/trauma victims who have been at the hospitals waiting for an extended period of time.

Thank you for the clothing that we have received. Any pre loved, good quality clothing, any sizes children/men/women are welcome.

Clothing Orders:

Please remember to place your clothing orders for summer uniform, the last date for orders for this year is on Friday 2 October. 

Registration for 2021:  Please remember that registration for 2021 is now open and we have very limited space available. We only have space left in Gr R and Gr 1.

School will close at the normal time on Wednesday 23 September i.e. 13h30

Summer uniform

  • Turquoise golf shirt, girls wear a skort or shorts –boys wear navy blue shorts; (only those available through the school are acceptable).
  • Black or white tekkies or black school shoes with white socks.
  • For cold days hooded tops, polar fleece jackets and drimacs are available – all items are embroidered with the school logo.
  • Tracksuits pants may only be worn on cold days.

Spell-a-thon

We will be having our annual Spell-A-Thon on 30 October.  Please support your child and our school.  This is our only fundraiser this year.  Your child will be given spelling words to learn. He/she may get a person to sponsor or donate a certain amount of money for every word they spell correctly and/or maths sum they answer correctly.  Each learner will be tested on a fixed number of words. More information, spelling lists and sponsorship forms will be sent home with the learners shortly.

Year -End Exams:

Our grade 4 – 7 learners will be writing formal year end exams as we have been able to keep up to date with our syllabus.  Exams will start on 18 November.  Time Tables will be sent home with learners early in the new term.

  • The Grade 7’s will write their exams and go home at 10:00 each day.
  • For all other grades; school closes at 12:00 from 18 November to 2 December.
